Introduction
I am 38 years old and I live in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. I grew up in a small town 100 km West of Copenhagen with my parents and two brothers. I see myself as an openminded idealist, I belive in seizing, creating and giving opportunities and enjoying life.

Professional profile
I finished my apprenticeship and qualified as a compositor in 1993 from a prepress company and have since worked in an advertising agency, an in-house graphic section of a healthinsurance company and the printery where I currently work. My job is to produce all sorts of printed matters, ie. books, leaflets, posters, businesscards, calendars, brochures etc. I work with Adobe Creative Suite on a Macintosh computer and my job includes handling layout, typography, upmaking, imaging, clippingpaths, retouching and preparing matters for print.
I take special interest in typography and typefaces, of which the latin alphabet has many beautyful examples, and I am curious of how users of other alphabets work with typography. In Korea I look forward to visiting printeries, advertising agencies and graphic schools too learn how my profession is carried out there.

Personal profile
I have a passion for travelling, a thirst of exploring and appreciating what’s out there for us. So far I have travelled in Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan and the Middle East as well as holidays in Europe. Asia has a special place in my heart, primarily due to the kindness of the people, the respect and humbleness between people and the efficiency of which most things seem to work. It shall indeed be interesting to visit Korea, a country so relatively little visited but so rich in history and culture and so different from my own part of the world. I feel that visiting other cultures encourages us to reflect on our own ways of living, providing us with ideas and visions of improvement.
As much as I would like to do nothing but travel, regrettably this is not possible, so between travels and work I enjoy projects in my kitchen – cooking, baking, preserving etc.
I practice Ichuan (Yiquan) – a type of Martial Art, which I use mostly for health. Reading, walking and cykling in nature, a good glass of wine and spending time with my little nephew and nieces are also favourites.
